A jewelry box looks simple; the difficulty is all in the tolerances. Insert slots must fit each piece exactly — too loose and it rattles, too tight and it's hard to remove. The drawer must glide smoothly but never slide open on its own. This brand's previous box had drawn customer complaints about a "sticky drawer" — returns weren't about the jewelry, they were about the box.
We cut a dedicated die for the insert, wrapped in flocked fabric, with individual slots for rings, earrings and necklaces; drawer-to-sleeve clearance controlled tightly for a smooth, snug glide, plus a ribbon pull tab for a finished detail. Silver-stamped logo with fine embossing on the lid — understated, tactile.
After delivery, the client reported a noticeable increase in packaging praise from customers — the box was no longer the weak link.
